Installation of a portable smoke stopper:

Holding the metal frame, the textile fibre falls down and in its position.

The metal frame is placed in the upper right corner of the door

Just pull the spreader bar apart ...

The spreader bar will stay at its pulled position .

The smoke stopper is held in positon with the left hand now and the right hand is used to turn the spreader bar clockwise until it spreads with a sufficient force into the door frame.

By using a lock, the spreader bar is secure in its positon
